Educating people about the Licensing Bill that threatens to Close Down Alternative Health Practitioners
& TAKES YOUR RIGHTS AWAY TO USE THIS FORM OF CARE FOR YOURSELF!
*Put 16,000 alternative practitioners out of business in Colorado i.e. nutritionalist, naturopaths, homeopaths (Colorado Dept. of Regulatory Agency's statistics, as testified in 2007 Health and Human Services Legislative Committee Hearing)
*Only 97 naturopathic physicians from the 4 recognized colleges could sit for the licensing exam; creating a monopoly for those 97 people (none of these colleges are located in Colorado)
*Licensing would create a CLASS C FELONY charge against those 16,000 practitioners practicing without a license.
*State economic impact estimated @ $20,000 per practitioner.
= 3.2 $ Billion in Lost State Revenue in Colorado.
*We now have a Health Freedom Bill introduced by Rep. Wes. McKinley: HB 1158. If we pass this bill, it would remedy this issue, and protect ALL Traditional Naturopathy Practitioners, and Healing Energy Workers.
This Bill would make these alternative modalities legal & accessible to all.
