1) Distribute our petitions!!! WAHOO!!

2) Continue to create our teams to get our 120,000 signatures. -- PLEASE BRING YOUR FRIENDS WHO ARE ALSO COMMITTED TO GETTING SIGNATURES!

3) And we will also look at what large events are happening in Colorado over the next couple of months that would allow us to get thousands of signatures in one weekend. --So PLEASE BRING YOUR CALENDARS

We have less then 2 months to get all those signatures, so LETS ALL BE WILLING TO RESCHEDULE OTHER ACTIVITIES?

THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE OUT OF AREA, PLEASE CALL ME WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE YOU HAVE IN YOUR GROUP SO WE CAN SCHEDULE YOUR TRAININGS AS WELL.

Part of the function of this group will be the following: Educating people about the laws that currently make the alternative and complimentary industry illegal in this state, and the Licensing Bills that have threatened to Close Down Alternative Health Practitioners TAKING YOUR RIGHTS AWAY TO USE THIS FORM OF CARE FOR YOURSELF!

Past bills would have resulted in the following:

*Put 16,000 alternative practitioners out of business in Colorado i.e. nutritionist, naturopaths, homeopaths (Colorado Dept. of Regulatory Agency's statistics, as testified in 2007 Health and Human Services Legislative Committee Hearing)

*Only 97 naturopathic physicians from the 4 recognized colleges could sit for the licensing exam; creating a monopoly for those 97 people (none of these colleges are located in Colorado)

*Licensing would create a CLASS 6 FELONY charge against those 16,000 practitioners practicing without a license.

*State economic impact estimated @ $20,000 per practitioner.
= 3.2 $ Billion in Lost State Revenue in Colorado.
